Moving Forward  Realty™ was founded by Broker/Owner Jason Hennen. 

Jason, born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, learned through his upbringing that an honest and strong work ethic breeds success.

Jason strongly believes that competence begins with education.  In 1995, Jason received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.  In 2003, Jason received his Master's Degree from Marquette University.  Jason receives his continuing education from the Wisconsin Realtors® Association.

Second to an education, Jason believes previous positive work experience contributes to his brokerage success.  Jason began his real estate career in 1993, working part time while attending college with a real estate appraising firm specializing in appraisals and city assessments.  Jason began buying and selling his personal real estate investments in 1996, building a successful real estate portfolio.  In 2003, Jason obtained his Wisconsin Real Estate Sale's license and joined one of the largest real estate firms in Wisconsin.  After nine years of a positive relationship with this broker, Jason decided to move forward and fulfill his dream of owning and actively operating his own real estate brokerage.

With 25 years of real estate experience, Jason identified the need for a real estate brokerage that features agents with a combination of formal education, successful real estate experience, and proven life's experience.  Jason believes that client's deserve competent and skilled service, which Moving Forward  Realty™ has and will continue to provide.  


Jason is married to Galina, they have three children, Izzy, Addy, and Elly,  In his free time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, personal fitness and exercise, swimming, watching the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Marquette Basketball!

Jim Gage


Jim has lived in the Elm Grove and Brookfield area all his life.  He understands that for most home buyers, purchasing or selling a home is one of the most important and challenging decisions a person will make.  Jim is dedicated to minding the details and taking the stress out of home sales transactions.  Utilizing the latest in appointment scheduling, document sharing technologies, and working with a dedicated team of Moving Forward relocation specialists, Jim will make your real estate experience one that is efficient, convenient and easy from almost anywhere.

A current homeowner, lake property owner, and former investments property manager, Jim has experience in residential, multifamily house, rural and lake property.  Jim has worked in the Brookfield/Elm Grove area for over thirty years.

Jodi M. Canning-Jurena


I was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but shortly thereafter, my parents moved me to Napa Valley, California.  Loving the Midwest values and their hard work ethic, I moved back and have been working, living and playing in Pewaukee for over 25 years.   

I am a hard working mom with two boys who got into real estate because of my love of people and wanting to help them.  My choice to work for Moving Forward Realty is because their philosophy aligns with mine.   
 
Professionally, I have over 10 years of sales experience and over 25 years of customer service skills.  On a part-time basis, I work for the Village of Chenequa Police Department as a Police Clerk.  I am an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and belong to a charity called Chickens 4 Charity.  I am also a volunteer for a non-profit organization called, Positively Pewaukee. 
 
In my spare time, I am an avid gardener and enjoy working on improving our home, raising my boys and traveling with my husband.
